Early voting has begun and the first few days are looking pristine for Democrats. Poll lines are long and moving, although a lot of our residents are reporting 30 minute – 1 hour long lines at times. It seems the word’s gotten out that casting your ballot before November 4th makes life a whole lot easier.

In the biggest day of the year so far for Fayette County Democrats, Senator Raphael Warnock and Governor candidate Stacey Abrams will be gracing the streets of Peachtree City with their presence.

At 1:30 PM, you can see Rev. Warnock leading a rally at Shakerag Knoll to hopefully well over 100 local Democrats. Afterwards, a bunch of us will hop into golf carts and ride our way down to the polls.

From 6 to 8 PM, The Fayette Democrats will be hosting an event featuring candidate for governor Stacey Abrams at Lela’s Place Wedding Venue in Peachtree City. Parking will be tight, so please carpool if you can! Before Stacey arrives, you’ll hear brief speeches by a who’s who of Fayette County Democrats: the Mayor of Fayetteville Edward Johnson, Fayetteville councilpersons Niyah Glover and Joe Clark, Fayette County Commissioner Charles Rousseau, Candidate for Georgia’s Third Congressional District Val Almonord, Candidate for the Georgia Senate – District 16 Pingke Dubignon, Candidate for Georgia House – District 68 Tish Naghise, Candidate for Georgia House – District 74 William Harris, Peachtree City council candidate Kevin Madden, and Fayette County School Board Candidate – District 4 Regina Daigre.

After 7 PM, Stacey Abrams will speak outside to a large crowd of local Democrats and will be available for selfies until 8 PM. To attend this event, Please sign up using this Mobilize.us link.
