In Memory of Tish Naghise

In memory of Tish Naghise, beloved public servant, elected official, selfless volunteer of both Fayette County and the State of Georgia:

The Fayette County Democratic Committee is awarding two scholarships in Tish Naghise‘s name for $2500 each to two Fayette County high school seniors.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible to receive the Tish Naghise Memorial Scholarship for public service, seniors will need:

  • a GPA of 2.8 or higher,
  • to be accepted into a 2-year or 4-year college or university,
  • to be interested in a career in public service.

Tish Naghise: Beloved Public Servant

Letitia “Tish” Naghise passed away during her first term in office as the D-68 Representative in the GA State House. Although her service was cut short, she accomplished much and cared deeply. Rep. Naghise was an outstanding public servant. She was a woman of great vision, values, and a deep commitment to her community.
