Fayette County currently has no active High School Democrat chapter. That means the voices of the younger generation are not being heard in this county of over 100,000 people. If you care about investing in renewable energy, advocating for justice reform, public education, health care access, LGTBQIA+ rights, abortion rights, and so much more that the Democratic Party stands for, you NEED to consider taking a stand when no one else will.
Local grassroots organizing is the backbone of every pivotal social change in our country’s history. If you think you’re too young or don’t know enough or aren’t skilled enough to make a difference, you’re wrong. Fayette County, Georgia residents as young as 14 can take your first steps into the world of political action by signing up with the Georgia High School Democrats (ages 14-18), the Georgia Young Dems (14-40), and the Fayette Democrats (all ages).
