We Flipped Fayette Blue!
PSC - District 2: Alicia M. Johnson (DEM) won with 55.10% of the votes in Fayette County, 62.73% statewide
PSC - District 3: Peter Hubbard (DEM) won with 55.40% of the votes in Fayette County, 62.93% statewide
Municipal Results:
Brooks Mayor - Dan Langford (I) won with 90.12% of the votes
Brooks City Council Post 1 - Bishop William Watts (ran unopposed) won with 100% of the votes
Brooks City Council Post 2 - Scott Israel (I) (ran unopposed) won with 100% of the votes
Brooks City Council Post 5 - Sara Nelson won with 81.20% of the votes
Fayetteville City Council Post 3 - Emmett E. Spurlock won with 50.90% of the votes
Fayetteville City Council Post 4 - Shannon S. Moultrie won with 59.37% of the votes
Fayetteville City Council Post 5 - Niyah Glover (I) won with 77.03% of the votes
Peachtree City Mayor - Kim Learnard (I) won with 54.48% of the votes
Peachtree City City Council Post 3 - Clint Holland (I) won with 50.98% of the votes
Peachtree City City Council Post 4 - Michael Polacek won with 54.35% of the votes
Tyrone City Council Post 3 - Billy Campbell (I) (ran unopposed) won with 100% of the votes
Tyrone City Council Post 4 - Maureen Wheeler (ran unopposed) won with 100% of the votes
Woolsey Mayor - Ron Smith (ran unopposed) won with 100% of the votes
Woolsey City Council Post 3 - Jennifer M. Jackson won with 63.93% of the votes

FAYETTE’S TRAJECTORY
Our South Atlanta enclave of growing Democrats has a chance to flip BLUE for the first time in decades, the end result of a 20 year long effort started by our founder Ernie Broadwell. Ernie brought Fayette Democrats together for the first time in 2003, with less than 30% of our County’s vote share. On November 3rd, 2026, we will flip fully to Democratic control.
